Well, this is my first post. Thanks to anyone who is taking the time to read it. I'm going to warn you right off the bat that I have nothing important to say and never will. As the quote in the description implies, I'm shallow. I spend far too much time dwelling on movies and television shows, stuff like that. And I've found that I need some sort of outlet for all these thoughts, mostly because I can't go on subjecting my friends and family to my long winded rants. They do not care how much Smallville has screwed up the characterization of Clark Kent (not to mention how awful its depiction of women is). They do not care how unprecedented it is that Joss Whedon was able to get a movie made based on a failed television show. (Many of them didn't even go and see Serenity.) And they sure don't care about my opinions on what is going on in the various Spider-Man comics (of which I have many). So I have decide to use the anonymity of the internet to get all my thoughts out and pretend that someone out there actually does care. Just be prepared. I can be long winded. It's late now, so I'm not going to go on about anything right now. But something will piss me off very soon, I am sure.
I just want to make an admission before I go. The quote in the description is from the film High Fidelity. I actually haven't gotten around to reading the book yet. But I just want to assure any Nick Hornby fan out there that I will eventually read the book.
